Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the On Program app ("On Program", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run your training and the features you choose to use.

Account information

• Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Your display name and username.

You can also use the app as a guest, without an account, in which case your data stays on your device until you choose to create an account.

Training profile and activity

• Your training profile: goal, experience level, sex, bodyweight, available equipment, chosen training days, and any injuries or limitations you tell us about.
• Your logged activity: workouts and sets, cardio sessions, bodyweight entries, personal records, streaks, and progress and level data.
• Messages you send to the in-app Coach and the notes you add after a session.

Content you import

• Workout plans or training history you paste in or upload as images, so the app can read them and set up your program.

Photos

• If you set a profile picture or import a plan from a screenshot, the app asks permission to access your photo library and uses only the images you select. We do not scan your photo library.

Social features

• If you use the community, leagues, "train together", or friend features, information such as your display name, level, and activity is shared with the other users you connect or compete with.

Subscriptions

• Your subscription status is managed through Apple and our subscriptions provider (RevenueCat). Payment is handled by Apple — we never receive or store your card or bank details.
• We send your display name and username to RevenueCat so we can tell whose subscription is whose in our own records. We do not send them your email address.

Notifications and device data

• If you enable notifications, we store a push token so we can send reminders and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

2. How we use your information

• To build and adjust your training program and show your progress.
• To provide the Coach, feedback, and plan-import features you choose to use.
• To run community, league, and social features you opt into.
• To manage your subscription and provide access to paid features.
• To send notifications you have enabled.
• To keep the app working, secure, and to fix problems.

3. AI features and third-party processing

When you use one of these features, the training information you have entered — your profile, workout stats and history, session notes, imported plans, and the messages you send — is transmitted to Anthropic to produce a reply or read your plan. We ask for your consent inside the app before any data is sent to Anthropic, and you can choose not to use these features and continue using the rest of the app normally.

Anthropic processes this information to return a response and does not receive your email address or payment information. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models. You can read Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers that make the app work:

Provider	Purpose
Supabase	Database, authentication, and secure storage of your account and training data.
Anthropic (Claude)	Generating AI Coach replies and reading imported plans, as described in Section 3.
Apple & RevenueCat	Processing and managing your subscription. RevenueCat also receives your display name and username so we can identify your account; it does not receive your email address.
Expo	Delivering the push notifications you enable.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the app.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → account settings), which removes your account and associated training data from our systems. You can also contact us to request deletion.

6. Security

Your data is stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy

On Program is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Your choices

• Access or correct your profile information in the app at any time.
• Delete your account and data from the app's settings.
• Decline the AI features — nothing is sent to Anthropic without your consent.
• Control notification and photo-library permissions in your device settings.

9. International users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, including by the providers listed in Section 4. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and significant changes may also be communicated in the app.
